Saturday, Sept 4
On Saturday morning we woke up a little late in the morning and headed to our photo walk tour of Beacon Hill.
Normally I am not a breakfast person, but whenever we're on vacation this seems to be the only way I don't feel nauseated and get snippy with Tyler. Since we left late I was upset I wasn't going to get breakfast, but lo and behold, as soon as we hop off the subway's green line onto Boston Common there's a bagel place staring at me. There's nothing I love more than a bagel for breakfast!
Our photo tour of Beacon Hill started at the Massachusetts State House

The purple glass on the right is due to some sort of chemical that was used when the glass was made that once hit by the sun they turned purple.

Our photo walk tour was fun, it's given me and Tyler some serious inside jokes due to the tour guide. It was basically a composition class, although I wish I had some more shutter speed/aperture and lighting help and that she had brought along her DSLR and not just a point and shoot. It has helped me a bit to see things differently.
After the photo tour we started our walking tour of the Back Bay

We had every intention of riding the Swan Boats but the lines were very long since it was labor day weekend and a Saturday so we decided to skip that

I have never seen the show, and kept busting into "Thank you for being a friend..." and Tyler kept reminding me that was for Golden Girls, not Cheers. Until later in the afternoon and he busted into Thank you for being a friend... and I almost died laughing.

Our plan was to have dinner and then head up to the observatory, however they closed half of it for a private event so Tyler and I decided to do that the next day.
Since we were in Boston it was mandatory for us to have seafood, we had dinner at Legal Sea Foods

Anybody that knows me well knows that I do not like seafood. I decided to be adventurous this time and have some fish, and I tired some of Tyler's lobster which I did not like at all - way chewy! The fish was not bad, but heck I live in Texas guimme a freaking steak.
After dinner we headed back to our hotel for some rest for another full day in the morning
